And he ended up slaughtering almost his entire clan because he couldn’t stop. First he killed his father, then his younger twin siblings, then his mother—then everyone else he could find until he was eventually stopped by distant cousins; also shinigami.All that remains of the Igarashi Noble House is Kazuma, his two cousins who are also shinigami, and the clan elder; his great grandmother. Because of the clan’s long-standing history in the Soul Society they were able to get him a pardon, but only on the condition that he be suppressed however he could to keep it from happening again.His memory of the act was erased, and Kazuma was given a ‘medication’ designed by the Twelfth that suppresses an immense, captain-level kind of reiatsu that triggers his psychosis. It’s a toxin that keeps him weak, and he was placed in the Eleventh Division as a preventative measure. Trapped in a body that seemed determined to make him suffer; the scorn from his fellow squad-mates left him despondent. Then... the truth came.Answers finally given by the Squad Five Captain Sosuke Aizen; revealing to Kazuma that he was not in fact weak, but was instead being betrayed by the very system that said they were trying to help. Aizen promised to find a way to free Kazuma from the hold his poison had on him in return for his loyalty, which was more than readily given. Feeling betrayed by the Gotei 13 left Kazuma eager to defect with Aizen and his followers Ichimaru and Tosen.It was in Hueco Mundo that Kazuma was finally able to seek out his true potential. To placate decades' worth of repressed bloodlust, Aizen allowed Kazuma to be the executioner of all failed Arrancar projects; providing him with a constant stream of victims. ㅤㅤㅤfollowing Aizen’s capture, there are two ways Kazuma can go for roleplay purposes——ㅤRE-JOINING THE GOTEI 13— Kazuma manages to plead a pardon with the Gotei and Central 46; who are under the impression he was drugged and tricked into compliance, as well as under Kyoka Suigetsu. With how different his personality is… that’s not too hard to convince others of. He returns to the Eleventh and is forced back under his medication, which he is now aware of. But he always wonders what would happen if Aizen were to be freed. And knows he’d probably follow him again.ㅤREMAINING AMONG THE HOLLOWS— Kazuma manages to escape with the surviving Arrancar & Hollows and just… lives in Hueco Mundo. Killing hollows and honestly living his best life. ㅤㅤㅤㅤ魂玻璃ㅤ⋮ㅤ𝑳𝑶𝑶𝑲𝑰𝑵𝑮 𝑮𝑳𝑨𝑺𝑺 𝑶𝑭 𝑻𝑯𝑬 𝑺𝑶𝑼𝑳ㅤActivated by the command “REFLECT," once Tamashīhari has crossed blades (touched physically) another zanpakutō it can ‘reflect’ it; essentially copying the zanpakutō physically in shikai and in its abilities. The shikai can then 'reflect' up to the last five blades it has crossed. Once a reflection has been used, it must be triggered with another encounter in order to be used again.ㅤTamashīhari can also 'reflect' Resurrección— following the same rule of five as it does with zanpakutō; however these reflections gift him with the temporary abilities of an Arrancar's physical attributes. While this is his primary use in the eyes of Aizen, reflecting Resurrección is an extremely traumatic and painful process for Kazuma— who already has a shaky sense of self and feels less and less like a whole soul and more like a Hollow each time he reflects one.ㅤㅤㅤㅤ𝐖𝐄𝐀𝐊𝐍𝐄𝐒𝐒𝐄𝐒ㅤㅤ● it can’t reflect a zanpakutō without the wielder knowing that sword's name
ㅤㅤㅤㅤ(ex. he can’t reflect Zaraki’s for most of the ‘series’)
ㅤㅤ● it is fundamentally weaker against the reflected zanpakutō, but can be strong against others
ㅤㅤㅤㅤ(ex. fighting the mirrored sword would make it inherently weaker)
ㅤㅤ● the reflection is time duration limited, and can’t switch back and forth flippantly
